The Virtual Visiting Professor™ website is a project of the Global Theological Education Program of Perkins School of Theology in Southern Methodist University. It serves teachers, schools, congregations, and training centers world-wide. On this website you will find a growing number of video resources from international scholars. They are available without cost for use in class and classroom settings.

Our focus is providing short lectures and interviews that teachers will use to supplement classroom teaching. Our belief is that the best of global Christian scholarship, combined with the wisdom and contextual knowledge of local teachers, provides the richest classroom environment for training Christian leaders.

We are initially focusing on resources created by teachers from Asia, Africa, and Latin America whose voices are too seldom heard globally. These teachers are providing us between 1 and 5 hours of video lectures accompanied by publicly available readings and discussion questions. All these resources are available without cost, but we do ask that users register and create a login before accessing the resources.
